How are hotels selected?: Hotels are chosen for comfort and proximity to travel sites.
What is the status of check-in?: Each hotel will have you pre-checked in before you arrive. How about room keys?: The hotel will have room keys waiting for the group as the bus arrives. The keys will be distributed by the guide/trip leader.
How many people stay in each room?: Two (2) people stay in each room, with two keys.
Can I get a single room?: If you desire a single room, there will be a single supplement charge. Email or call the trip leader to determine the single supplement cost.
What if I have an issue with my room?: Start by calling down to the front desk to see if they can remedy the situation. If it is not remedied, contact the trip leader.
How do I contact the trip leader?: You will be notified of the trip leader’s room number upon arrival, and you will have their mobile number in your trip pilgrimage book.
Meals Meals included with the trip are served at the hotels.
What is covered in the trip cost?: Breakfast and the evening meal are covered by the trip cost. Again, these will be served by the hotels.
What style of service is offered?: Breakfast and evening meals are almost always a buffet.
How does the meal card work?: You will be given a card and/or asked for your room number before each meal, and you may have to show your room key to the host or hostess.
What meals are NOT Covered in the trip cost?:Lunches.
So how do lunches work?: The bus will stop during the day at places along the route where lunch is offered.
FOOD NOTES: You will get a tremendous amount of high-quality food at the buffet, both at breakfast and at the evening meal. Granola bars and fruit or similar will be on the buffet in the morning, and they are are easy to take along during the day. There will be places during our stops to get food. Transoceanic flights will include meals. Flights within the USA will not include meals.
